Options to Customize Hit Lists

enaio® webclient 10.10 »

The result of a search request is shown as a hit list in table form. Hit lists consist of static columns that provide information about object properties, and columns, which contain the index data of the found objects. Hit lists from full-text searches also display a column with a text passage and the search term found within it (Preview column). These hits are sorted in the hit list according to their quality (Quality column).

Refreshing Hit Lists

By clicking or tapping on the Refresh icon Refresh icon in the hit list’s title bar, the search is repeated and new objects or changes to existing objects are taken into account in the search.

The following applies if you are using enaio® mobile:

Object lists can be refreshed using the "pull-to-refresh" gesture. To do this, scroll to the top of the object list, tap on the list, and pull it down using your finger. A Refresh icon Refresh icon appears on the display, while at the same time the object list is refreshed.

Resetting the Hit List Layout

You can reset the layout to the default settings via the More actions icon More actions icon in the title bar of the hit list by clicking or tapping on the Reset layout icon Reset layout icon in the drop-down menu. This resets layout settings such as the column width, column order, sorting, and grouping. Filter settings and settings in the hit list configuration (see Configuring Hit Lists) are retained.

The following applies if you are using enaio® mobile on a smartphone:

On a smartphone a truncated object list is displayed due to the limited screen space available on the device.

The display changes if the screen of the mobile device is less than 420 pixels in width or height.

As a result of this, there are a number of differences when you are using the program on a smartphone:

  • It is not possible to adjust the column width or sort and group in object lists on smartphones.

  • On smartphones, static columns in object Lists are hidden due to space constraints.

  • The Refresh icon Refresh function can be found in the More actions icon More actions menu in the hit list title bar.

  • The Reset layout icon Reset layout function is not available on smartphones.
